The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Siwaipatti P.S. Case No.153 of 2022 registered under Sections 28(i)(c) and 35 (1)(a)(b) of the Fertilizer Control Order 1985 and Section 7(i)(a)(b) and Section 9(i)(ii) of the Essential Commodities Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. He further submits that there is no allegation in the F.I.R. that the petitioner has illegally sold any fertilizer or any other material to suggest black marketing. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
