The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 302 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted his wife and set her ablaze causing her death.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 16.01.2015 and he has to look after three children.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same, preferably, within one year from the date of receipt of this order.
