The petitioners are in custody in connection with CII 64/2018 for the offences under Sections 9, 48, 48(A), 48(B) and 51 of Wild Life Protection Act, 1972.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 09.11.2018. He further submits that petitioners are labourer and they have no concern with the offence nor with the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3847 of 2019(2) dt.25-01-2019 2/2 alleged tortoise. In the instant case 260 pieces of tortoise was seized.
Considering the aforesaid, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with CII 64/2018.
