This application has been filed for quashing the notice issued by the District magistrate, Muzaffarpur on 12.4.2017 in Excise Case No. 83 of 2017.

There is no instruction with learned counsel for the petitioner or the learned APP for the State as to the correct status of the case. Moreover, the present writ petition has been filed challenging the notice.

In view of the aforesaid facts, this Court is of the view that there is no merit in this case. Accordingly, this
