JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 29-09-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 20 of the NDPS Act.
The prosecution case is of recovery of one quintal ganja from the jeep in which the petitioner was a cleaner. Learned APP drew my attention towards the report of the learned ADJ - I cum Special Judge, NDPS Act, Gaya which reflects that the evidence has been closed.
Hence, considering the present stage of the trial and the commercial quantity of recovery of ganja, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner in connection with NDPS Case No. 12 of 2012 (Barachatti P.S. Case No. 192 of 2012) pending in the court of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24019 of 2015 (3) dt.29-09-2016 2/2 learned Ist Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, NDPS Act, Gaya.
This application is, accordingly, dismissed. However, the learned trial court is expected to conclude the trial expeditiously.
