JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-08-2015 The petitioner is languishing in custody since 09.04.2015 in connection with Magadh Medical P.S. Case No. 96 of 2014 for the offences instituted under Sections 304(B) and 201/34 of the I.P.C.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant after three years of marriage for non-fulfilment of dowry demand.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 09.04.2015 and the charge sheet has been submitted in the present case. It is further submitted that the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23467 of 2015 (3) dt.12-08-2015 2/2 petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. It is further submitted that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased. On behalf of the State it has been submitted that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased and he is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected in Magadh Medical P.S. Case No. 96/2014, pending in the court of the learned A.C.J.M., Gaya. Anyhow, the trial court is directed to take all necessary steps to expedite the trial of the present case and conclude the same preferably within a period of nine months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
