The petitioners are apprehending arrest in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 88 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 341, 342, 323, 324, 504, 506, 354B, 307, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners informed this Court that petitioner no. 1 has been arrested and as such his application for anticipatory bail has become infructuous.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that so far as petitioner no. 2 is concerned, he has no criminal antecedent.

Allegation against this petitioner is that he has assaulted the informant with fatta which caused injury. He further submits that there is a delay of 8 days in lodging of FIR. Considering the totality of the case and circumstances discussed above, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner no. 2, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate VI, Supaul in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 88 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
