JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 03-02-2020 Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 440 of 2019, arising out of Chewara P.S. Case No. 82 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 39(a)(d) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

There is recovery of eight and odd litres of liquor from the petitioner.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has no criminal antecedent and he has remained in custody since 22.12.2019 and he is ready to co-operate in investigation.

Heard learned APP also.

In view of above facts and circumstances, let petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5608 of 2020(2) dt.03-02-2020 2/2 Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional District and Sessions Judge-II, Sheikhpura, in connection with Excise Case No. 440 of 2019, arising out of Chewara P.S. Case No. 82 of 2019.
