JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 22-01-2015 Petitioner is languishing in custody since 27.01.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384, 506 of the I.P.C and Section 17 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act.

Accusation is demanding extortion from the Project Manager of N.T.P.C. During investigation, it was found that caller disclosed his name as Sanjay being Area Commander. It was also found during investigation that the SIM of the alleged caller is registered in the name of mother of this petitioner who is an illiterate lady.

Considering the nature of accusation and the fact that petitioner is accused in two other cases, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at present. Accordingly the application is dismissed in connection with N.T.P.C Khaira P.S. Case No. 20 of 2013,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23964 of 2014 (3) dt.22-01-2015 2/2 pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Aurangabad.
