1. Heard the parties.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Barauli P.S. Case No. 150 of 2024 dated 17.05.2024 registered under Section 304B of the I.P.C.

3. The prosecution case as per the first information report is that the informant solemnized his sister's marriage with the co-accused / Pradhuman Kumar on 20.04.2024 and within twenty five days of marriage the petitioner along with other co-accused persons committed murder of informant's sister on 15.05.2024 due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the cousin father-in-law of the deceased and resides

The allegation against the petitioner is general and omnibus in nature and he has not committed any offence in the manner alleged. The petitioner has been made accused merely because he happens to be a distant relative of the deceased's husband. The deceased has committed suicide due to the fact that her marriage was solemnized under pressure as she was in love relationship with someone else. Other co-accused persons i.e. aunt-in-law, married sister-in-law and brother-in-law of the deceased have been granted anticipatory bail by this court in Cr. Misc. No. 77887 of 2024. The petitioner is in custody since 16.09.2024 and charge sheet has already been submitted. There is no likelihood that the petitioner will abscond or tamper with the evidence if released on bail.

5. Regard being had to the submissions made by the parties, taking into consideration the fact that the co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail by this court and the petitioner is in custody since 16.09.2024, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Mrs. Uzma Quamar, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Gopalganj in
