Petitioners seek bail in a case registered under sections 467, 468, 420, 120B, 272, 273, 290/34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as section 47A of the Excise Act.
Petitioners were caught on the spot when they were found engaged in manufacturing and packing illegal liquor and it is alleged that a mini liquor factory was being run in the house petitioner no.3. Considering the allegation as well as this aspect of the matter that in huge quantity country made liquors were recovered from place of occurrence, I am not inclined to release the petitioners on bail and accordingly, their prayer for bail in connection with Buxar
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14155 of 2016 (2) dt.05-04-2016 (T) P.S. Case no. 35/2016 pending in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar stands rejected.
However, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioners and try to conclude the same as early as possible.
