Petitioner seeks bail in Tikapatti P.S. Case No. 106 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 420, 406, 120(B)/34 Indian Penal Code.
In the written report, it is alleged that this petitioner with two other accused, as named in the written report, came in the village and collected the amount from the informant and others on the plea that amount will be doubled in few days. It is alleged that informant gave Rs.20,000/- to the petitioner. It is further alleged that this petitioner and other accused persons made payment to few persons, but later on they did not make payment. They attempted to run away, but was caught by the villagers.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3298 of 2019(2) dt.24-01-2019 2/2 Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner himself has given the money to the informant as per written report. Petitioner is a lady.
Counsel for the petitioner further submits that coaccused, Bibhash Singh and Bikash Mandal, have already been granted regular bail by this Court by order dated 08.10.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.60094 of 2018.
Petitioner is said to be in custody since 03.07.2018. In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Purnea, in connection with Tikapatti P.S. Case No. 106 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
