The present writ application has been filed for a direction to the respondents to ensure production of all the witnesses before the District Court so that the trial of Mahamadpur P.S. Case No. 72 of 2013 registered under Sections 323, 324, 307, 504, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and
Patna High Court CR. WJC No.282 of 2020(3) dt.12-07-2023 2/2 further Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code has been added, be expedited.
Learned counsel for the Respondents-State submits that after investigation charge sheet has been submitted against the accused persons and the case is pending for commitment before the learned Magistrate, Gopalganj.
In view of the submission made by the State that the investigation of the case has already been completed and charge sheet has been submitted it is expected that the learned District Court will expedite the trial in the interest of justice.
