JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 14-05-2015 Petitioner being husband of the informant is languishing in custody since 02.08.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 494, 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The basic accusation is torture for nonfulfilment of dowry demand. Considering the nature of accusation and the period under custody, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Harshidhi P.S.
