Mr.Sanjay Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 06-02-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

The petitioner is in custody in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 118 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 386/387 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the instant case allegation of extortion against one Laddu Patel. The name of the petitioner surfaced on the confessional statement of co-accused Laddu Patel. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that petitioner was remanded in this case on 29.8.2018. There is no material to connect the petitioner in crime except the confessional statement of co-accused, who has disclosed the name of the petitioner as his associates. Considering the totality of the fact as discussed above,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6800 of 2019(2) dt.06-02-2019 2/2 let the petitioner named above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Learned A.C.J.M. VI, Patna City, in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 118 of 2018.
