The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Gopalganj Nagar P.S. Case No. 648 of 2018 dated 03.11.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 504, 387, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Though the petitioner is alleged to have pointed a weapon towards the informant for the purpose of scaring him but nobody appears to have been hurt in the occurrence.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the informant had dispute with Yogendra Pandit but the name of the petitioner has been taken in the FIR for a special reason. The wife of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2811 of 2019(2) dt.22-01-2019 2/2 petitioner is on litigating terms with the father of the informant and therefore the name of the petitioner has been provided in the FIR with the allegation of threatening the informant on gun point.

Considering the aforestated facts, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Gopalganj Nagar P.S. Case No. 648 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
