JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 16-08-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 366(A), 313, 376, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and u/s 4, 17 of POCSO Act.

A report was called for by order dated 01.07.2021 from the trial court about the stage of trial which reveals that charges have already been framed and one prosecution witness has been examined.

Considering the nature of allegation, gravity of offence and progress of the trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. Since the petitioner is in custody since 07.10.2019,
