The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Manjha Garh P.S. Case No. 76 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 324, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner has been named in the First Information Report but the injuries, found on the person of the injured are not grievous in nature. It is further submitted that the name of the petitioner has surfaced in the present First Information Report solely on account of land dispute between the parties. It is further submitted that one Motilal Yadav, the Sarpanch of the village is on litigating terms with the petitioner and at his instance, the petitioner has been named in the present case.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16109 of 2016 (3) dt.28-04-2016 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner has got on criminal antecedents, let the petitioner above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is/are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Manjha Garh P.S. Case No. 76 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Anjana Mishra, J) Jagdish/- U
