The petitioner is in custody since 11.11.2019 in connection with Excise GR - 3370 of 2018 (CIS-Excise-968 of 2018) arising out of Brahampur P.S. Case No. 472 of 2018 for the offence registered under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has surfaced on the basis of the confessional statement made before the police by co-accused namely, Hira Lal Yadav and there is nothing against the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been remanded in the case from Brahampur P.S. Case No. 468 of 2019 in which he has been granted bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3365 of 2020(2) dt.22-01-2020 2/2 the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge - 2nd cum Special Judge (Excise) Buxar in connection with Excise GR - 3370 of 2018 (CIS-Excise-968 of 2018) arising out of Brahampur P.S.
