The petitioners being the parents of the husband of the informant are languishing in custody since 23.09.2014 and 29.12.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The accusation against the petitioners is that they poured kerosene oil on the body of the informant when the husband of the informant lit the fire but alarm on being raised Anjani Ram, the husband of the informant, extinguished the fire.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24130 of 2015 (2) dt.14-07-2015 2/2 It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the injury has been found simple in nature. Injury report has been brought on record as Annexure-2. The petitioners claimed to be separate from the informant.

Considering the fact that the investigation has already concluded and the injury has been found to be simple, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur in connection with Sajour (Shahkund) P.S. Case No. 153 of 2014.
