Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the writ application, the respondents have modified the date of regularization of the petitioner. They issued notification whereby the date of regularization of the petitioner stands approved w.e.f. 1.1.1989 in place of 25.1.2000. The only grievance now remains is consequential benefits on account of regularization of the service of the petitioner with effect from 1.9.1989. He submits that in the matter of grant of consequential benefits the respondents have already taken decision and they have decided to make payment of the entire dues in one go in

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with observation that respondents may take final steps for payment of consequential benefit, treating the date of regularization of the services of the petitioner with effect from 1.1.1989 and the monetary benefit of such regularization may be granted to the petitioner within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order. The respondents are also required to work out the claim of the petitioner for grant of pensionary benefit as well within a further period of two month from the date of such decision.

With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
