JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 04-08-2021 The present petition has been taken up for consideration through the mode of Video conferencing in view of the prevailing situation on account of COVID 19 Pandemic, requiring social distancing.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner Shri Anil Kumar, the learned counsel for the respondent-State Shri Kumar Alok, SC-7 and the learned counsel for the Accountant General, Mr. Bindhyachal Rai.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that
Patna High Court CWJC No.24405 of 2018(8) dt.04-08-2021 2/2 he has got no instructions from his client, however, the fact remains that barring the arrears of pension for the period 20172020, the rest of the death-cum-retiral dues of the petitioner has already stood paid, as is apparent from the supplementary counter affidavit filed by the respondent State. The learned counsel for the Accountant General submits that he would definitely ensure that the authority slip for the aforesaid arrears of pension is issued qua the widowpetitioner, in accordance with law. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court finds that nothing survives for consideration in the present writ petition, hence the present petition stands disposed off, however, with liberty to the petitioner to agitate her subsisting grievances in case the aforesaid arrears of pension is not paid to her.
