In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Ghanshyampur P.S. Case No.154 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 366/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the co-accused including the petitioner is to have kidnapped the daughter of the informant from her matrimonial house. In the statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C., she has named this petitioner as the person who has kidnapped her and took her to Kolkata.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

However, if the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within four weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order preferably on the same day without being influenced by the order of this Court.
