Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201 and 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Marriage of the deceased was solemnized with coaccused Puja Devi. However, Puja Devi was allegedly in relationship with the petitioner who happens to be her brotherin-law. Hence, the petitioner and Puja Devi are suspected to have committed murder of the victim.

Submission is that petitioner is in custody since 20.07.2018. Investigation of the case is already complete. Besides suspicion, there is no other material against the petitioner. Co-accused Guria Devi @ Guria Kumari has already been allowed bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4098 of 2019(3) dt.16-04-2019 2/2 order dated 17.12.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 66185 of 2018. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Patepur Police Station Case No. 55 of 2018, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
