Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 16, 17, 18, 20, 23 of U.A.P. Act. Petitioner is not named in the first information report but in course of investigation, his name surfaced in this case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that having similar allegation, one co-accused, Ranjan Kumar has already been granted privilege of bail by this Court. Moreover, petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and is languishing in jail custody since 17.01.2016. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as
