This application has been filed for modification of order dated 12.09.2022 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 20717 of 2022 to the extent of extension of period of surrender. By the said order, while granting bail to the petitioner, he was directed to make payment of Rs. 3,81,446/- to South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. in ten installment within two years and receipt of first refund of Rs. 50,000/- was to be deposited at the time of furnishing bail-bond.
In view of reasons assigned in paragraphs - 5, 6 & 7 of the petition, further four weeks time from today is extended
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12746 of 2023(2) dt.22-03-2023 2/2 to the petitioner to surrender before the court below, failing which, the learned court below would be at liberty to take step for arresting the petitioner.
Accordingly, order dated 12.09.2022 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 20717 of 2022 is modified to the above extent only and other condition, as stated in the said order, shall remain operative. With this observation, this modification petition is allowed.
