The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 58 of 2019, dated 19.10.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 342, 498(A), 323, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioner No. 1 is the mother-in-law of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14963 of 2021(2) dt.25-02-2022 2/3 informant, whereas the petitioners Nos. 2 and 3 are the younger brothers of the husband of the informant. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the accusation against them is absolutely vague, general and omnibus. They have been made accused in this case only because they happen to be related to the husband of the informant with whom she could not carry on well in life. The husband of the petitioner was taken into custody, but now he is on bail.

It has further been submitted that the petitioners are only interested that the dispute between the spouses is settled and for that they are ever ready to offer their assistance, support and co-operation.

Regard being had to the facts afore-stated, the petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Supaul in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14963 of 2021(2) dt.25-02-2022 3/3 connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 58 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. The application stands allowed.
