The present petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs :- "(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ including writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to remove the encroachment from public road existing over old Khata No. 170, old Plot No. 1602, area 1 decimal appertaining to new Plot No. 1759 area 1 decimal situated in village- Patsa, P.S.-Hasanpur, District-Samastipur.

(ii) For the issuance of an appropriate writ/ direction to respondents not to encroach the

Patna High Court CWJC No.7653 of 2017 dt.31-07-2023 2/2 public land/road standing over plot No. 1602 Area 1 decimal of village-Patsa."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies, as are otherwise available under the law for redressal of his grievances including that of filing a suit before the learned civil court having competent jurisdiction. Liberty so sought, is granted.
