Petitioner apprehends his arrest in Narhat P.S. Case No.242 of 2018 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 341, 224, 225, 353, 188 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. The gist of the allegation is that when the police raided the house of Arvind Chaudhary, the petitioner was fleeing away with country made liquor and petitioner was apprehended by the police but the villagers came there, made protest and got the petitioner freed from the custody of the police. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered from possession of the petitioner.
