The instant application has been filed for modification of the order dated 5.3.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 76828 of 2018 whereby while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Ghosi P.S. Case no. 342 of 2016, the petitioner was directed to surrender in the learned court below within a period of six weeks.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for reasons stated in the petition, the petitioner could not comply with the directions to surrender within the time fixed. Further in compliance of the order of this Court, cost of Rs. 10,000/- has been deposited by the petitioner in the Patna High

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11167 of 2021(3) dt.17-11-2021 2/2 Court Legal Services Committee and a copy of the receipt has been filed along with supplementary affidavit. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the materials on record, the order dated 5.3.2020 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 76828 of 2018 is modified to the extent that the time granted therein for the petitioner to surrender is extended by a further period of four weeks from today. Remaining part of the said order dated 5.3.2020 shall remain unchanged. The modification application stands allowed to the above extent.
