This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Daudpur Police Station Case No. 82 of 2018, disclosing offences under Sections 341/323/324/307/379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the accused persons deliberately dashed their vehicle against the informant, causing injuries, and when the informant objected, the accused persons assaulted the informant with dagger.

My attention has been drawn to the injury report, which suggests the injuries to be simple in nature. Learned Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2555 of 2019(2) dt.21-01-2019 2/2 he will make himself available to the police and the Court, as and when required for the purpose of investigation, enquiry or trial.

Considering the facts and circumstances, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, Chandan Kumar Yadav, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Saran, in connection with Daudpur Police Station Case No. 82 of 2018, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438

(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

This is subject to the condition that the petitioner shall present himself before the police/Court, as the case may be, as and when required and in the event of failure on his part to appear before the Court on two consecutive occasions, his bail bond shall be liable to be cancelled.
