Petitioner is in jail custody since 26.02.2016 on the accusation that he along with one co-accused abused the informant and others and also torn the cloths of the informant. Furthermore, the petitioner and co-accused humiliated the informant by calling her caste name.

Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that the present case has been lodged on account of village politics and, moreover, co-accused Vijay Yadav, having more or less similar allegation, has already been granted privilege of bail by this Court.
