Against the order of cancellation of PDS licence, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the Appellate Authority, namely, the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur on 15.09.2021, which has not yet been disposed of.
We see no reason for keeping the appeal
Patna High Court CWJC No.1336 of 2022(2) dt.24-02-2022 2/2 pending before a Quasi-Judicial Authority.
Let the appeal be finally disposed of positively within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. Needless to state, the Appellate Authority shall pass a reasoned order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner to explain his case. The copy of the order shall be communicated to the petitioner forthwith.
With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
