2. The petitioner is claiming herself to be the daughter-in-law of late Sakhi Singh has filed the writ petition seeking a direction commanding upon the respondents to pay the admissible amount of EPF of her father-in-law along with interest for the period 1976 to 1986.
3. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the father-in-law of the petitioner was an employee under the respondent no.5 as Night Guard and he died on 27.08.1989. Thereafter in his place, the husband of the petitioner was appointed on compassionate ground and subsequent thereto the
Patna High Court CWJC No.4385 of 2021(5) dt.08-02-2024 2/2 husband of the petitioner also died on 07.08.2006, but till date, as per the submission of the petitioner, the EPF amount for the aforenoted period has not been paid.
4. Considering the belated claim and the nature of dispute, this Court does not find any reason or occasion to pass any positive order. However, the petitioner is at liberty that if she has still any genuine grievance, she may approach before the concerned respondent authority by filing a proper representation along with necessary documents in support of her claim.
5. Needless to observe that if such a representation is filed, the respondent authority shall consider the same and pass a reasoned and speaking order expeditiously.
6. This disposes the writ petition.
