Mr.Bhanu Pratap Singh ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 31-01-2020 Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Aurai P.S. Case No. 96 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner happens to be father-in-law and allegation is that for non-fulfilment of demand of dowry he tortured the daughter of the informant.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is in custody since August, 2019 and no specific allegation has been attributed against him and husband is in custody and charge sheet has been submitted, as such there is no chance of tampering with the evidence.

Heard learned APP also.

In view of above facts and circumstances, let

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5443 of 2020(2) dt.31-01-2020 2/2 petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-XIII (East) Muzaffarpur, in connection with Aurai P.S. Case No. 96 of 2019.
