The petitioners have sought a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondent authorities to pay the dues for the work done by the petitioners in view of Memo No. 215 dated 2nd March, 2019; Memo No. 452 dated 7th June, 2019 and Memo No. 499 dated 6th March, 2019 whereby the Block

Patna High Court CWJC No.5038 of 2021(9) dt.30-08-2022 2/2 Development Officer under Swachchh Bharat Mission(Gramin) Lohiya Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan has given work for hoardings and banners, pamphlets and wall painting to bring the awareness under the Scheme.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that he has completed the entire work but payment has not been made. Counsel appearing for the State submits that enquiry has been made by the Department and probably the same has been completed.

On the basis of that, whatever dues are payable to the petitioners shall be paid at the earliest, in any case not later than three weeks.

The writ petition stands disposed of in the abovementioned terms.
