Mr.Binod Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 26-07-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 307, 325 and some other ancillary Sections of the Indian Penal Code As per the prosecution case, this petitioner along with two other FIR named accused persons assaulted the father of informant with Lathi, Bhala and Barchi causing grievous injury to him.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that there is land dispute between the parties and due to that simple Marpit took place in which father of informant sustained injuries. There is case and counter case. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4473 of 2022(2) dt.26-07-2022 2/2 prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that petitioner is alleged to have caused grievous injury to the father of informant.

Considering the nature of accusation and gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) BKS/- U T
