Mr. Ram Priya Sharan Singh, APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 20-02-2019 The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 02.01.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 48112 of 2017.

The petitioner is alleged to have raped a minor girl. This Court finds no good reason to revisit the order rejecting the prayer for bail of the petitioner earlier. The report which has been received from the trial court indicates that up till now, only one witness has been examined.

Be that as it may, considering the gravity of the offence but taking into account the period of custody of the petitioner, this Court directs the trial court to conclude the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.372 of 2019(3) dt.20-02-2019 2/2 trial, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production/communication of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands dismissed.
