JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 19-06-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is seeking a direction to the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Gopalganj to act upon the Letter dated 19.02.2022 written by the District Education Officer, Gopalganj by which he has forwarded the letter of this petitioner. Learned counsel submits that in the year 2005 one Juli Sagar was appointed as Shikshamitra and then she became a Panchayat Teacher by virtue of the operation of the Service Rule

Patna High Court CWJC No.1842 of 2023(2) dt.19-06-2023 2/2 which came into force in the year 2006. She had obtained her engagement on the basis of forged educational certificates and thereby deprived this petitioner who was meritorious and was fit for getting engagement as Shikshamitra.

Learned counsel for the State submits that in the light of the direction of this Court in CWJC No. 15459 of 2014, the educational certificates of the Panchayat Teachers were verified and the certificate of Juli Sagar was found forged. For this reason, a first information report has been lodged with Phulwaria Police Station and in this regard, appropriate action has already been taken. Having regard to the aforementioned submissions and on finding that the respondents have already lodged first information report against Juli Sagar and her appointment has also been cancelled, no further order need be passed as the law will take its course after investigation.

So far as the grievance of the petitioner that he was deprived of getting his engagement is concerned, the same cannot be considered at this stage as no relief may be granted to the petitioner after lapse of about 19 years.
