The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 304B, 201 and 34 IPC.
The father of the deceased made allegation that the petitioner took his daughter with him after leaving her two children and thereafter, his daughter could not be traced out. It is alleged that the petitioner was subjecting his wife to torture for demand of dowry. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased.
It is submitted that before institution of the case, the petitioner filed an informatory petition that he might be implicated in a false case. Considering the facts that the petitioner took his wife with him and thereafter his wife became traceless, I am not inclined to enlarge him on bail and accordingly, the same is rejected.
The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within one year from the date of receipt or production of a copy of this order. If the trial is not concluded within one year, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail firstly before the trial court. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J) ahk/- U T
