The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Saharsa P.S. Case No.1131 of 2018 registered under Section 7 of E.C. Act. The vehicle was intercepted from which 22 bags of rice were recovered.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. During the course of investigation, name of the petitioner surfaced as the petitioner is the licensee of a P.D.S. shop but the shop of the petitioner was not searched. Every stock register or stock was found intact. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of

No.6097 of 2019(2) dt.04-02-2019 2/2 receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M, Saharsa in connection with Saharsa P.S. Case No.1131 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
