====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ALOK KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER 06-02-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The present application has been filed seeking modification of the order dated 24.09.2025 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 65599 of 2025, confined to correction of the address of the petitioner as mentioned in the said order as well as extension of time for furnishing bail bonds of the petitioner
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to an inadvertent error, the address of the petitioner has been wrongly mentioned in the order dated 24.09.2025 as VillageDipahu, Dhangad Toli, P.S.-Kotwa, District-East Champaran, whereas the correct and actual address of the petitioner, as

No.6752 of 2026(2) dt.06-02-2026 2/3 reflected in the F.I.R., is Village-Jhitkahiya, P.S.-Lakhaura, District-East Champaran, Motihari but due to mistake in order of Special Judge the address of petitioner is given as VillageDipahu, Dhangad tolili, P.S. Kotwa, District-East Champaran and on account of the said discrepancy, the bail bond of the petitioner could not be accepted by the concerned trial court. It is submitted that the correct address of the petitioner is VillageJhitkahiya, P.S. Lakhaura, District- East Champaran, Motihari. Hence, he prays that addressof the petitioner be modified as Village- Jhitkahiya, P.S. Lakhaura, District- East Champaran, Motihari.
4. Learned A.P.P. for the State has no objection to the prayer made for correction of the address.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, in the order dated 24.09.2025, in place of address of petitioner -Village-Dipahu, Dhangad Toli, P.S.-Kotwa, District-East Champaran, it be read as Village- Jhitkahiya, P.S. Lakhaura, District- East Champaran, Motihari and time for surrender of the petitioner for furnishing bail bonds is extended by a further period of six weeks from today, on the same terms and conditions as stipulated in the order dated 24.09.2025 passed in
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6752 of 2026(2) dt.06-02-2026 3/3 Criminal Miscellaneous No. 65599 of 2025, in connection with Lakhaura P.S. Case No. 165 of 2025, to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Court No. 1, East Champaran, Motihari.
6. Accordingly, the order dated 24.09.2025 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 65599 of 2025 is modified to the extent stated above.
7. The modification application, accordingly, stands allowed.
