The present petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs :- "(i) For a direction to the respondent
Patna High Court CWJC No.2257 of 2020(6) dt.18-09-2023 2/3 authorities to remove the encroachment from Khata No. 17 and 107, Khesra No.
1016, 1017 and 1018, situated at Village Lalganj, P.S. Ben, Dist- Nalanda, the ancestral property of the petitioner, which was forcibly entered upon by the Panchayat members of Gram Panchayat Arwan, including the Mukhiya and its ward members along with antisocial elements of the locality, who have constructed a road 12ft by 80 ft, thereby encroaching upon the private property of the petitioner.
(ii) For a direction to the respondent authorities to take the necessary legal steps for redressal of the grievances of the petitioner. "

In compliance to the earlier order of this Court dated 12.09.2023, the District Magistrate, Nalanda has filed a supplementary counter affidavit, wherein it has been stated that the road constructed over the private raiyati land of the petitioner has been removed and the land of the petitioner has been restored to its earlier position.

The aforesaid fact is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, whereas on the contrary, it is submitted that now the petitioner is not having any subsisting grievance.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
