The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 05.12.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 51379 of 2017. The petitioner is alleged to have given the fatal blow to the deceased. He is in custody since 19.07.2016.

This Court had called for a report about the stage of the case from the court below, which report kept at 'Flag-A' indicates that out of nine charge sheet witnesses, four have been examined.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3730 of 2019(3) dt.03-04-2019 2/2 Looking at the nature of accusation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to him for the present.

The prayer for bail is rejected.

It is expected that the trial would be concluded within a reasonable period of time preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a copy of the order or communication of the same. If the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court again for grant of bail.

The petition is disposed of accordingly with the aforesaid observation.
