Dolly Kumari was married to Shravan Kumar in the year 2014 and during course of stay at her Sasural, she was brutally assaulted by her husband for procurement of Rs. 5 Lacs and was further threatened to face dire consequences in case of failure to procure the aforesaid amount and for that, she, anyhow, contacted in the morning of 27.011.2019 to her Maika and disclosed her woes. At afternoon, the son-in-law informed regarding death whereupon, all the family members rushed immediately. When they reached at the Sasural of Dolly, they found her dead body over a cot in a room having her bangles broken into pieces, scattered. From the postmortem report, it is evident that death was on account of fracture of hyoid bone. It is further evident that all the family members are evading their presence. From the case diary, the other part of allegation is found subsisting. Consequent thereupon, prayer for bail of the petition is rejected. (Aditya Kumar Trivedi, J) perwez U T
