The petitioner had earlier moved before this Court for bail in Cr. Misc. No. 9222 of 2014 and this Court, vide order dated 19.04.2014, rejected the same.
Allegation against the petitioner is serious to have killed his wife.
This Court has called for the report from the court below and on perusal of the same it appears that there are thirteen prosecution witnesses, out of whom, three witnesses have been examined.
The court below is directed to take all steps to ensure the production of the rest witnesses and complete the trial within a
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17515 of 2016 (3) dt.22-06-2016 2/2 period of one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
This Court, for the present, is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is rejected. If the trial is not completed within the aforesaid period, the petitioner will have liberty to renew his prayer for bail. (Shivaji Pandey, J) Mahesh/- U T
