Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 302 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code as well as section 27 of the Arms Act.

No doubt, petitioner is named in the first information report but it was co- accused Bitu Singh who opened fire on the deceased as well as inured. So far as the petitioner is concerned, he was also present on the place of occurrence and it is alleged that he tried to stop the deceased and injured.

Petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and investigation against him has already been completed. Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Railway Judicial Magistrate,
