Petitioner is languishing in custody since 24.01.2016 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 304B, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case is that the sister of the informant Sabita Devi got marriage with Raju Rai on 26.06.2013. It is alleged that after six years of marriage the in-laws and her husband started demanding dowry and due to non-fulfillment of dowry demand accused persons with the connivance of this petitioner killed the sister of the informant. The petitioner is mediator of marriage of victim and her husband.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that that accusation is omnibus and general. The petitioner is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16878 of 2016 (2) dt.19-04-2016 mediator of the marriage, hence, he has been roped in the present case.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Danapur in connection with Bihta P.S. Case No. 57 of 2016.
