JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 11-05-2022 Heard Ms. Shama Sinha, learned Advocate for the petitioner and Mr. Jagdhar Prasad, learned APP. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 12.01.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 33551 of 2020.

The petitioner, who is the husband of the deceased is said to be in custody since 17.08.2019. The report regarding the stage of the case indicates that till date, not a single witness has been examined.

However, considering the nature of accusation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to him during the pendency of the trial.

The prayer for bail is rejected.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5819 of 2022(4) dt.11-05-2022 2/2 If there is no substantial progress in the trial in the next nine months, it would be open for the petitioner to approach this Court again for grant of bail.
