The petitioner is in custody since 13.09.2021 in connection with Mahila P.S. Nalanda Case No. 102/2021 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 376AB/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4/6 POCSO and Section 3(1)(r)(s)(w)/3(2)(v) of the SC/ST act. The petitioner is an accused of raping a seven-year old girl. He was working as a Manager. The minor girl was hospitalized in VIMS, Pawapuri because of the act of the petitioner.

Considering the gravity of offence and the specific allegation of rape upon a minor girl of ten years, I am not inclined to grant bail to this petitioner. It is, accordingly,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4925 of 2022(2) dt.23-05-2022 2/2 rejected.

The Special Judge, POCSO Court, Nalanda at Bihar Sharif, is directed to get the trial of the case concluded within a period of one year.
